The Aalto Complex Networks Factory takes place in the Sannäs countryside manor in Porvoo, near Helsinki, between 4th and 8th June 2012. Accommodation and meals will be provided for the participants.

The Factory is targeted at graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, who already have some experience in network science.

The first three days of the Factory are devoted to a summer school, with Esteban Moro, Alain Barrat, Albert Díaz-Guilera, and János Kertész as the lecturers. The lectures will focus on time-varying networks and network dynamics.

There will be a workshop with additional participants on the 7th and 8th. There are slots reserved for presentations by the school participants.

The Aalto Complex Networks Factory is funded by ICTeCollective, grant No. 238597 of the European Commission, the Aalto Science Institute and the Nordic Network of Network Scientists.
